About Our Divisions
Lil Howlers (U5)
The Lil Howler program is specifically designed to teach basic skating and hockey skills to introduce 4-year-olds to the game of hockey. This program will introduce kids to the love, joy, and passion that is hockey!
What's Included:
- 20-week Program (One 1-hour Session per week)
- Professional Instruction
- Jerseys provided
- Player Picture Day (cost to parent or guardian)
- Each skater is required to wear full CSA approved hockey equipment, including helmet, mask, mouth and neck guards. Although sticks may not be used early on in the program they could be used later.
- Parents who wish to go on the ice with the child need to contact [email protected] prior to stepping on the ice for all on ice requirements.
Note: If both the league and the player's parents are in agreement, an advanced 4-year old player may be moved into an older Age Group.
U6 and U7 Program
The U6 and U7 season includes 1 practice night a week and 1 game a week, typically on Saturdays but can vary depending on travel. Teams will travel to local arenas for both age groups. There may be weeks where more than one game is scheduled. Additional practices are sometimes held on Sundays when extra ice is available. Games in this age group are cross-ice. Jerseys and socks are provided for each player.
Jamborees (1 day tournaments) will be scheduled at the discretion of your coach. These jamborees are not factored in your registration fees and will be an additional cost.
U8 and U9 Program
The U8 and U9 program include 1 practice night a week, 1 game a week, typically on Saturdays but can vary depending on travel. There will be weeks where more than 1 game is scheduled. Additional practices will also be held when ice is available. Games are half ice. Jerseys and socks are provided for each player.
U9 will graduate to full ice in January 2026.
Jamborees and tournaments will be scheduled at the discretion of your coach. These jamborees are not factored in your registration fees and will be an additional cost.
Both U8 and U9 will have a Minor Development Option (Rep). Please see the MD tab for information on evaluations and additional fees.
U11 to U18 Program
U11 to U18 teams include two birth years. These teams will have practice once a week and will have often have two games a week.
Jerseys and socks are provided for u11.
U13 and up are required to purchase their jerseys (home and away) but will be able to keep these jerseys and reuse.
Tournaments will be scheduled at the discretion of your coach. These tournaments are not factored in your registration fees and will be an additional cost.
U11 to U18 will offer a Select Team Option if numbers allow. This would give eligible players the option to play more hockey on an additional select team with an additional fee. Please see the Select tab for more information.
